Weston Title & Escrow Handles Closing in $11.2 Million Sale of Weston Retail Plaza
Weston, FL - Weston Title & Escrow,
a full service title and escrow company,
handled the closing of the sale of the Millennium Plaza at Weston.
Millennium 2000 Development, LLC sold the retail center to Jaffe
of Sawgrass for $11.2 million. Attorney Roy Oppenheim of Oppenheim
Pilelsky represented the seller and attorney Bruce Goldman represented
the buyer. Oppenheim is also founder of Weston Title & Escrow.
The Millennium Plaza at Weston is a 45,000 square foot mixed-use
retail/office project located at 2800 Weston Road in Weston, Florida.
It was developed in 2001 by Millennium 2000 Development, a Weston-based
company whose managing partner is Ignacio Martinez, Jr.
Oppenheim said Martinez plans to use some proceeds from this sale
to fund operating expenses at The Millennium Hollywood's City Place,
a million-square foot discount outlet and family entertainment
center located in Hollywood. In March of last year, Millennium
Development Enterprises signed a 60-year lease with the mall's
owners to operate and manage Hollywood's City Place. Oppenheim
represented the developer in that transaction as well.
